Zeus

Zeus was the youngest child of Set’s union with Rhea, and the adoptive son of Stephanie and Thoth. He glorified in his ability to accomplish great feats of sorcery with an “anything you can do, I can do better” attitude. He had what he needed in every circumstance. When things didn’t go his way, he called out his opponents for cheating. The only person stopping Zeus was himself, that kind of unchecked power presented a huge problem. Distrust and paranoia greatly shaped his rule, making him a tyrant in some characters eyes.

Zeus named himself King of the Olympians and his reign encompassed most of the Age of Marvels until the Olympians complete collapse. Most of the Ancient Greek Myths and Legends were started personally by Zeus who endeavoured to inflate his ego and narcissistic outlook on life.

Short Stories (Podcast Episodes)

Devil Behind the Desk

In “Devil Behind the Desk,” Emit taught a history class in which he spoke about a war started by Zeus. In the story, Zeus fueled tensions between the Republic of Fantasia and the Sheba Union after the Shebans demanded assets from the ruined Puntian Kingdom be returned to them. Zeus’s refusal and childish actions created a bitter conflict which only ended after Emit stole the artifacts in question and gave them back to the Shebans himself.

The Lost Empire

This short story detailed the fall of Atlantis. Zeus played a prominent role in which he taunted the Gods of Earth with his magical power. When Atlantis started to sink, he tried his best to save it, but to no avail. Furthermore, Zeus was personally responsible for the catastrophic loss of life when he ignored Aphrodite’s warnings and told people to remain on the sinking island. Zeus refused to be held accountable for his actions and this event went down as a number of serious low points during his reign over the Olympians.

Physical Description

Zeus was depicted as being extremely handsome. Often too handsome for his own good, with girls fawning over him. His inherited his mothers golden blonde hair and elf ears. As half elf, he had high energy and adreneline. Frequently using this pent up energy to incredible effect, both good and bad.

Personality

Zeus was proud, too proud for his own good at times. He meant well, but his ego constantly got in the way and he was unable to say “no” to his more devious desires in terms of sex. Thoth and Stephanie provided lessons on morality to Zeus, he just didn’t listen that well.
