Tengu (tehn-goo)

Tengu (tehn-goo) were birds who nested in the mountains. Laxarian shields and crests featured the bird as a symbol of war. Tengu eggs were large enough to feed an entire family. Adults were as large as a bujanga dragon when fully grown. Tengu blood was a vital component in mind-protection potion to keep a person’s mind safe from being penetrated by telepathy and to cure headaches.
